Such a distinct and strong flavor. I enjoy it as an espresso almost daily.
I tend to think any of the Yemeni coffees I am drinking at the time is my favorite. The obvious point is that they are all so good. Matari is just excellent, but you won’t go wrong with any of Anda’s coffees. They are all above and beyond. Coffee from Yemen is a special treat.
A very tasty coffee with a great aroma. I expect nothing less of these coffees. Great way to start my morning!
Love this coffee. I often give it as a present. Anda’s service is first rate. Great coffee! Great company!
A lovely gift from my coffee loving cousins. An excellent French roast. I served it to visiting relatives and heard, " where did you get this?"
Ive been into single origin coffee for a while. The yemeni coffee from the Matari region is titled as a “light” roast, that it is not. Ive had many light roasts recently and this is significantly darker than those, this is a medium roast for sure. The best cup of coffee ive ever had? No, to be honest it’s pretty average.
Outstanding! Coffee excellent, service too. Will be back for more!
I miss the Yemen beans that have been unavailable for several reasons over the last years—my favorite coffee then, and now again. These beans are wonderful, the service is personal and wonderful. I could not recommend more highly.
Another excellent coffee. Rich, and once I cleaned out my machine, smooth and crema again.
Just received my most recent delivery of the best coffee in the world from Anda. As usual the handwritten note is a nice personal touch. All of the Yemeni coffee I purchase from this gentleman are excellent in quality and taste. The Matari region dark roasted coffee beans are my absolute favorite coffee!! It is hands down the smoothest tasting, least acidic coffee that I have ever experienced. It is the one coffee that maintains a consistency of taste and aroma every time I purchase and savor it. There is truly no coffee that compares to the Matari. Thank you Anda for sharing this excellent coffee with me and for exposing the world to an unbelievable product. Best of luck to you and yours!!!
Arrived wrapped in a very tight heavy paper, difficult to unwrap & separate coffee…Other than that, the coffee is stellar…higher quality in aroma & flavor than the Ethiopian Yirgacheffee coffee.
The best coffee in the world.
I loved the coffee. It tasted very good. I bought the Matari region light and I am planning on buying the dark next. I am a big fan already. :)
Greatly enjoyed the Matari medum roast. What I would describe as a brighter character than the Anesi lot we tried previously. Smooth and well balanced in terms of flavor profile.
Love Matari! Great pour over coffee!! Worth a try as it is not too "winey" or "earthy". Matari strikes a perfect balance!
Yémen Coffee is simply the best that I have ever tried, and I’ve tried more than I can remember. The coffee from Yemen’s Matari Region is incredibly rich in flavor. I like a dark roast for my Expresso in the afternoon and the roasts, whether light or dark from Al Mokha, never fail to intrigue my guests. I even take a bag Al Mokha with me when I travel. Truthfully anyone that enjoys good coffee needs to be a customer. As an extra perk, I enjoy the personal attention that I get from the owner Anda. There’s always a nice hand written note with my order. PW
Tremendous service, great coffee!
Great coffee! Looking forward to giving other roasts from Yemen a try!
This is excellent coffee. Ordering and shipping went smoothly as well.
